Career with NYNEX/VERIZON-came up ranks from customer service and
marketing to consultant/management team that launched the company long
distance business.
Was a conscientious worker who would extend herself to help anyone and
had fun while doing it.
Earned later in life degree from Mercy College with honors. Completed the
degree in 4 years attending at night while working full time. Met Louise
while attending, her instructor in one of her courses and never stopped telling
everyone about the grade she received.
Storytelling was one of her talents, being able to make hilarious humor out
of everyday situations. Many will remember her famous cable TV, A&P,
and bagel store stories which she loved telling upon request.
Carol loved cooking, the study of cuisine, and fine dining. She loved being a
member of the Culinary Club of Heritage Hills and spending time with
others who shared her love of cooking.
Nothing pleased her more than sitting on her deck in Maine watching and
being calmed by the ocean.
She had a special love and affinity for children and a way of relating to
them.
Carol was generous and kind beyond compare, continuing to give when it
appeared unappreciated.
She was gracious and courageous in her long battle. often lifting the spirits
of others who were also battling cancer.
Words used to describe her by those who knew her were: endearing. special,
loving, caring, selfless.
She loved having fun and lived the title of her favorite movie
