Carmela "Ruby" Mirizio, age 87, of Greenwich died Saturday, August 15, 2009. Mrs. Mirizio was born November 14, 1921 in Palermo ,Sicily, the daughter of the late Andrew and Maria (Campeneto) Cannizzaro. Devoted wife of the late Arnold Mirizio. Loving mother of
Judith Koller, Andrea (Thomas) Nani and Vincent Mirizio. Dear sister of John Cannizzaro and the late Angela Busacca. Her 6 Grandchildren were the love of her life: Marlaina Koller, Edward Koller, Vincent Mirizio, Danielle Mirizio, Jenell Nani, and Bianca Nani. She was an elegant, beautiful and loving lady to all that knew her. We will all miss her gentle smile. God has taken her to her new resting place where she will join our loving family with eternal open loving arms.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 PM to 9 PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. Prayer service will be Tuesday at 7:00 at the Humeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Pompano Beach. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
