Robert A. Ettlinger Robert A. Ettlinger, affectionately known as Hot Dog, ended his courageous fight against cancer on Thursday, July 19th, 2018. Born Dec 5th, 1960 in New York City, Rob grew up in Hastings-on-Hudson and lived with his family in South Salem, NY. A loving husband and father, Rob is survived by his wife, Lisa and his children, Zachary and girlfriend Kristina Egitto, Benjamin, and Caroline. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy and his sister, Carla Viggiano and her fiancé, Greg Strong, and her children, Alex, Nick, and Caity and her husband Grant Gilliam, and their son Gunner. He was predeceased by his father, Godfrey and his nephew, Tyler. Rob was a proud co-owner with Bobby Robustelli of A&A Auto Clinic in North White Plains. Rob was a much-loved member of the community. He enjoyed watching his sons wrestle and his daughter play soccer. Rob had a ready smile; he made friends easily, even in the hospital. Friends and family will gather at Oelker-Cox and Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 Main St, Mt Kisco, NY on Saturday, July 21st; calling hours will be from 4:00-8:00 PM. Interment will be at Middle Patent Rural Cemetery on Sunday.
