Obituary of Betty Ann Miller
Please share a memory of Betty Ann to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Betty Miller, a long-time resident of Mount Kisco, died Friday the 10th of August, one day shy of her 72nd birthday. Our beloved Mimi was called to heaven after a very short battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Although her heart was big and filled with love, it was too weak to put up the fight.
Betty Bancroft married Harry Miller the love of her life on July 1, 1967. They spent the next 51 years celebrating love, life and creating a cherished family. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, taking care of many others along the way.
Betty will be fondly remembered for her love of food, noisy naps, social outings with friends, family gatherings, catching rays, needlecraft, and her extensive shoe collection. She enjoyed the holidays, her recent renewed interest in boating, shopping, facebooking, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Harry, son Chris, daughter Heather (Chris) Vazzano. Cherished grandchildren, Samantha and Lindsey Miller, Cj and Julianna Vazzzano and precious "Kica" Kim Gigante. She also leaves behind her sister Joan Clark, brother Robert (Diane) Bancroft, many nephews; closest, Edward Clark and Robert Bancroft; many nieces; closest, Laurie Clark; and family and friends.
Betty is reunited in heaven with her parents, Madeline and William Bancroft, brothers William, Richard and Martin as well as a loved niece, Debbie. May you all rest in eternal piece, together at last.
Friends may call at Oekler -Cox and Sinatra Funeral Home, Mount Kisco, Monday, August 13th 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 14th at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
