We loved Natalie, who was our loving, funny, next door neighbor and friend for over 10 years. I tell this tale to everyone that she is forever a part of our life story because when I was pregnant with my son, I went into labor and my husband was 2 hours away at work and couldn’t get back home and Natalie put me in her car and started driving to White Plains Hospital prettty quickly with the window down, yelling “Outta the way, lady with a baby!!!” over and over. And doing my breathing with me. We were cracking up the whole trip- it was a miracle I didn’t have him in the car from laughing so hard. She stayed with me in the hospital til hubby came, and she loved both my children. She and my husband had a wiseass-off everytime they saw each other. One winter day it was icy and hubby said “Hey Natalie, it’s pretty icy over there, don’t slip on... “ and down she went. They were hysterical. It was endearing. She was endearing. She was a wonderful mom to George who is a shining example of her. So happy we saw her at the end of July looking beautiful and still pointing to my hubby saying “YOU!!! You!!” and laughing. She was perfect. Her extra long hugs goodbye said it all. My heart hurts that she’s gone. Natalie, I always loved you and always will. Rest In Peace, sweet, loving, funny lady! <3
