Obituary of Evangelina Lanza

Evangelina Morales Lanza, 93, of Yonkers NY passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018. Her family was by her side when she drifted off to be with the lord. Evangelina was born on September 18, 1924 in the town Porvenir, Honduras to Alberto Morales and Genoveva Vanegas. On January 7, 1967, she married Israel Lanza in the town of Tela, Honduras. She worked for Sau Sea in Saw Mill River Road for most of her working years. At the age of 63 she retired and moved to Florida where she lived for over 25 years. In 2016 she moved back to Yonkers, NY where she lived the remainder of her years and was always surrounded by many friends and family. Devoted wife, mother & grandmother, is survived by her loving husband Israel Lanza: her children: Olivia Reyes, Gladys Lanza, Alba, Luis & Sandra Lanza: 15 grandchildren, Mayra Garland, Wilfredo Cortes, Juana Richards, Gladys Filipe, Leticia Villavicencio, Gladys Zuniga Plerqui, Damian Carrera, Soraya Almonte, Earlyne Pineda, Edwin Lanza, Edgardo Pineda, Jennifer Lanza, Norman Alvarez, Karina Morales & Vanessa Lanza: her 21 great-grandchildren: Jesenia & Claudia Saa, Brandon Abrahante, Teral Belin, Jonathan Carrera, Autumn Villavicencio, Samantha Gomez, Walter Villavicencio, Victoria Filipe, Damian Jr Carrera, Sofia & Steven Filipe, Josue Cordero Morales, Olivia Richards, Tyler Almonte, Elias Cordero Morales, Riley Richards, Dailyn Carrera, Christian Almonte, Drew Happy Cortes & Delanya Carrera: Great-great-grandchildren: Katie Perez, Elizabeth Gonzalez, Noah Belin & Caleb Ponce Service Information: Sinatra Funeral Home- 499 Yonkers, Ave, Yonkers NY - Wednesday September 5, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Funeral- September 6 – 10:00 am- St Peters Church, 91 Ludlow Street, Yonkers, NY 10701 Burial- Gates of Heaven immediately following the mass service
