Stephen Douglas Hughes, age 53, passed away at home on Thursday, September 27, 2018. He was born on December 27, 1964 in Bedford Village, NY and was a lifelong resident of Westchester County, NY. He was a 16 year member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 137. He was extremely hard-working and could always make those around him laugh, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his son, Richard; his daughter, Lisa; his grandson, Ace; his parents, Richard and Kathleen; his siblings, Kevin, Karen, Kathleen, Richard, and Chris; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Visitation is from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday, October 2nd at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home. Mass starts at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 3rd at Saint Patrick's Church.
