Theresa Fox (Fernandez) of Congers, N.Y. passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Theresa, or Terry, as she was known, was born in Yonkers, N.Y. on February 15,1928. Terry was married to Timothy H. Fox in 1948, he predeceased her in 1971. She is survived by her sons, Timothy and Thomas of Congers and her daughter, Cecelia (David Cudiner) of Ct. Grandchildren, Theresa (Bill Whitton), Elise (Keith Leggiadro), Taylor and Alexis McIntosh (Ben Ephie), and Great-Grandchildren, Billy (Whitton), Adeline (Leggiadro) and Zenaya (Ephie). Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Marilyn Pitcher, of Pearl River, in 2008. Terry was known throughout Getty Square where she was employed at H.L. Greens and MET Meat Markets on Main Street. She would retire from A & P Grocers in Rockland County. The family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10:00 am St. Mary's Church. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.
