I recall going to a pub several years ago in White Plains to see Dan perform in an open mic session. He had always been an entertainer of sorts (mostly comedian), but that was the only time I ever saw him on stage. The music was good and I still remember how much I laughed at the ridiculous lyrics.

To Dan's friends and the Casale Family,
I attended Fordham Preparatory at the same time as Dan, from 1994 - 1998. We did not keep in touch when we graduated but I remember him from the days spent at the Prep. We would often eat lunch or spend time together in time out of class. It was with a heavy heart I learnt of his passing and write these thoughts.
I remember Dan as a bright, funny, and vibrant part of the Prep community. Although I lost touch with Dan since our days at Fordham, I am very saddened that his friends and family have lost what light he added to their lives. I am sure he will be missed greatly.
