Mario P Iannelli 1933-2018 It is with great sorrow and heavy heart that Mario P. Iannelli entered into eternal peace on October 17, 2018 surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis, at the age of 85. Mario was a loving husband to Kathleen Iannelli who met on a blind date and married after 3 months lasting 63 years. He was a devoted father to three children; Diane and Mario Jr., predeceased by his father Anthony and mother Margaret. He was one of seven siblings; Joseph, Mary and predeceased by John, Esther, Carmela and Josephine. Mario was a proud grandfather to three; Nicholas, Christopher and Isabella. Mario was born in Dobbs Ferry, NY and raised in Yonkers. He graduated from Saunders High School, joined the U.S. Marines and after returning home he worked for Dairy Lee as a milkman in Mount Vernon. He then went on to work for the County of Westchester as a starter at Sprain Lake Golf Course of which he had been a member for over 45 years. His love of golf was as important to him as his family. Mario enjoyed being with his family, especially on Sundays. His love for wrestling, the Yankees and westerns was a big part of his everyday life. He will be remembered by all the beautiful and intricate puzzles he created for family & friends. In lieu of flowers, please send your donation to the dedicated and caring team at Calvary Hospital 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, N.Y. 10461 (718) 518-2000.
