Goshen, N.Y. – Yolanda Ricciuti, 87, of Yonkers, N.Y. peacefully passed on October 21, 2018 at Sapphire Nursing & Rehab, after a progressive battle with Lewy body dementia.
She was born on August 13, 1931 to the late Emidio and Assunta (Del Muto) Eliseo in Coppito, Italy. Yolanda was the youngest of seven siblings, predeceased by: Rosina, Guilio, Marrietta, Bernardino, Adele and Gina. In 1955, Yolanda emigrated to Mt. Her original creations were admired and appreciated by many. Yolanda did not only create masterpieces with a needle and thread; anyone fortunate enough to taste her lasagna and pizzelle would agree that she dedicated her life to those she loved.

She was a devout nonna to her three grandchildren Sharon (Demetrios) Eleftheriades, Daniella (Nicholas Polizzi) Ricciuti, Anthony Ricciuti and a proud great-grandmother to John Angelo Eleftheriades. Yolanda was respected and loved by her extended family of nieces and nephews. She was also blessed to have loyal friends who stood by as her health declined.
