Obituary of Mary A Pietropaolo

Mary A Pietropaolo, of Carmel, NY and a former longtime resident of Yonkers died peacefully on October 22, 2018 at the age of 88. She was born in Yonkers on May 18th 1930 to Sophie and Frank Rubio and attended Yonkers Public Schools graduating from Commerce High School in 1948. For many years she worked as an Account Technician for Stauffer Chemical and the Yonkers Board of Education. Beloved wife for 62 years of Joseph Pietropaolo who predeased her in 2014. Devoted mother of Joseph (Maria), Andrew (Pamela), Gary (Elizabeth) and Steven (Karen) Pietropaolo. Loving sister of Dorothy Lavista and the late Phillip Rubio, Angelina Sliaght, Jeanne Pelose, Elinor Lucrecia, and loving Grandmother of the late Gary J Pietropaolo. Also survived by eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Ave. on Thursday October 25th from 3-7PM. Funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church on Friday October 26th at 09:30AM followed by entombment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
