Obituary of Antoinette "Netta" Rienzi

Antoinette T. Rienzi, "Netta", a lifelong resident of the Park Hill section of Yonkers, NY died peacefully after a brief illness at the age of 98. Netta was born on December 7, 1919 in Yonkers to the late Nicola and Margarita (Gianantonio) Rienzi. She worked for over 35 years for the NY Telephone Co and later AT&T where she was one of the "Pioneers", retiring in 1973 to care for her parents. For many years she was a devoted parishioner of Mt. Carmel Church. Beloved sister of the late John Rienzi and Sarah Bonfonte. Loving sister in law of Josephine Rienzi of Florida. Dear Aunt of Frank and Nick Bonfonte, Margaret Fishman, Aimee Albe and Mary Ellen Noon and several great nieces and nephews. Netta was a "special aunt" to Agnes and Otto Seiderer, Carolyn Clark and Aimee Ciampini. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4PM to 8PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 499 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Wednesday at 10:00 at Mt Carmel Church, 70 Park Hill Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers.
