Phyllis Jean Wesley, of Chappaqua, died on December 18, 2018. She was 95. She was the daughter of Frank and Mildred Wesley of Mount Kisco. Phyllis graduated from Mount Kisco High School and Packard Business College of New York City, Gamma Sigma Pi. After graduating from Packard Business College, Phyllis went to work for Southern Railway System. During her 30 years at Southern, Phyllis rose through the ranks and achieved the distinction of being the first woman in the history of the company to be promoted to the position of Sales Manager. After Southern, she joined The Robert Stigwood Organisation, where she worked for 10 years acting in the capacity of Personal Secretary to the Chairman of the Company. Phyllis will be remembered for her devotion to her family and is survived by two nieces, five nephews, five grandnieces and two grandnephews. Friends may call Friday, December 28th from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Mount Kisco, (914) 666-5891. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 29th at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 304 Lexington Avenue, Mount Kisco, NY. In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations to be sent to the American Heart Association.
