Lucia Blancato, a longtime Yonkers resident died peacefully on December 22, 2018 at the age of 79. For many years she worked as a seamstress in Yonkers and later for David's Bridal Shop. Beloved wife of Sebastiano Blancato. Devoted mother of Antonietta (Frank) Castaldi and Nancy (James) Matessino. Loving sister of Giuseppe Tabacco and grandmother of four. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Ave. on Thursday from 4-8PM. Funeral mass at St. John the Baptist Church on Friday at 10:45AM. Entombment Ferncliff Mausoleum.
