Maria Proenca, a long-time Yonkers resident died peacefully on December 27, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was 77.
Maria was the loving wife of the late Elisio Proenca, devoted mother of Jose (Joanna) Proenca, Dulce (Mark) Grindley and Claudia Proenca Silva. She is also survived by 6 adoring grandchildren.
Friends may call the Sinatra Memorial Home at 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers N.Y., 10704 on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 3-7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima Church at 1 PM. Burial to follow at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla N.Y.
