Dear Barbara and family, I was so terribly saddened to hear of Joe's passing. He was so important as a mentor, boss, and friend to me. He made such an important impact on many lives. He always spoke of his family in such a loving way and despite all his professional successes, he considered his family as the best thing in his life. I loved him very much and appreciate all he taught me about the law and about life. I send my prayers and love to you all as we mourn a truly great husband, father, grandfather, scholar and dear friend. Theresa Dalton xo
