Arduino Paniccia, New City, NY April 1, 1929 – January 27, 2019 Arduino Paniccia, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather joined the love of his life , Filomena Paniccia (nee Montoni) and daughter Vincenza, on January 27, 2019 at the age of 89. Arduino was born on April 1, 1929 in Torrice, Italy. He was a long time Yonkers resident and member of Laborers Local 60 and Local 32BJ. Arduino was called by many names. Arduino, Ed, Eddie, Dad, Daddy, Grandpa, Grampa "O" and Papu. Every call was met with his infectious smile. If you knew Arduino, you were a part of the family. He was one of the strongest, hardworking people you could ever know. He loved to garden, landscape, fix anything but most of all, he lived for his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Arduino is survived by his son, Nicholas (Roseanne) and his daughter Vincenza Quinlan (John ). He is also survived by his grandchildren Nicole Paniccia (Adam Giambattista), Suzanne Marricco (Mark), Edward Paniccia (fiancee Cristina Tremante), Brian Quinlan, William,Quinlan, and John Quinlan as well as his great grandchildren Victoria, Olivia, and Marco Marricco and Vincent and Nora Giambattista. He is also survived by his beloved sister Gina DeSantis as well as his many adoring nieces, nephews and cousins.
