Inisa Romano-Spigno of 96 years was born April 26, 1922. She peacefully passed away on February 9th, 2019 joining her loving husband of 60 years and her daughter, Lucia. Inisa is survived by her two daughters, Erminia, Vilma, and her younger brother, Jerry.
She arrived in New York in 1972 as a seamstress in Cosmofiore Factory. Inisa was a member of San Silverio Shrine, where she loved to feast with members of the club. She loved reciting the rosary, going to mass, and strongly believed in her faith.
What brought her the most joy was her 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In her younger years she loved having them sleep over, cook her famous meatballs, and sew their ripped jeans. Cara nonna, ci vediamo all'atro mondo.
Inisa will always be in our hearts, prayers, and thoughts.
Friends may call on Monday from at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 499 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 at St. Ann's Church, 854 Midland Ave., Yonkers. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx.
