Obituary of Barbara Ricciardi

Mrs. Barbara “Tootsie” Ricciardi 82, beloved wife of the late Joseph A Ricciardi Sr., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019.

Tootsie was born on July 7th, 1936, in Yonkers, New York, the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Timan.

As a lifelong resident of 260 South Broadway, she worked for the City of Yonkers until her retirement.

She is survived by her eldest son Joseph Ricciardi Jr. and his wife AnnMarie, of Wappingers Falls New York, daughter Theresa Ricciardi, with whom she resided, in Watertown Connecticut, and daughter-in- law Lucia Ricciardi. She was pre-deceased by son Rocco Ricciardi Sr. Tootsie is also survived by six grandchildren;

Rocco Jr. (Mercedes), Joseph (Lisa), Lisa, Jenna (Michael), Joseph III, and Alyssa, as well as one great-grandson Michael. In addition, she is survived by her brothers Joseph and Peter Timan and sister Pam Archer, as well as her in-laws Anthony and Sandra Ricciardi, Barbara Stilo, along with many nieces and nephews.

Tootsie’s greatest passion was her family whom she loved and cherished with all her heart. She always enjoyed family get togethers and holidays, especially Easter breakfast which was a tradition loved by all.

We will miss you dearly, especially that beautiful smile that always lit up the room. When we saw that smile, we all had no choice but to smile ourselves.  (Do not delete this line. It does not print.  Text that is to appear on web must be entered after this line)«

Friends may call on Tuesday from at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 499 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY.  The funeral will be Tuesday at 12:00 at St. Ann Church, Midland Ave., Yonkers.  Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Yonkers.
