Obituary of Hattie Henderson

Hattie Mae Henderson born on January 10, 1953 in Mt. Vernon, New York passed away on February 16, 2019 after battling a terminal illness. Hattie is predeceased by her mother Matilda Henderson, sister Rose Henderson, son Malachi Henderson, and daughter Anita henderson. Hattie is survived by brothers willie JR, Walter henderson, Michael Henderson, Leroy - sister Roberta Henderson as well her children Michael Henderson, Robin Henderson, Robert henderson, Jermaine Henderson, and Martina Granger. Also a whole heap of grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren. Hattie worked with Richmond Children Center for 31 years. She was a caring, loving, compassionate person. She helped anyone and everyone in need. She is best described as our superhero. Hattie was an avid worshiper at The Tabernacle of Prayer - Faith and Deliverance Center. A viewing will be held on Monday, 2/25/19 from 4-8 pm Funeral will be on Tuesday, 2/26/19 from 1030-12 Both at Sinatra funeral home 315 S. Broadway, Yonkers NY. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, 2 Saw Mill River Road, Yonkers NY after funeral
