Donald Coloccia, age 89, of Yonkers died peacefully in his home and in the presence of his beloved family on Sunday, April 7, 2019. Donald was born August 10, 1929 in Sant'elia a Pianisi, Italy, the son of the late Francesco and Maria (Morinelli) Coloccia. He served in the Air Force from 1948 to 1952 during the Korean war. He was the owner of Woodhaven Dress Co., Yonkers, NY as a garment manufacturer. He is survived by his beloved wife Adriana (Pasqualone) Coloccia, one daughter: Pamela Posimato and one son: Frank Coloccia. Brother of Joanna LaPerchia, Joseph Coloccia and the late Maria Coloccia and Antoinette Morlet. Cherished grandfather of Larissa Crecco, Ronnie Crecco, Alexa Coloccia, Frank Coloccia, Jr. and Jake Coloccia. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4PM to 8PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 499 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Wednesday at 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Monastery Church, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers. Entombment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
