When I first met you I was a young scared girl. You opened your heart and your home to me and we shared many many many years of happy memories together. You taught me how to cook like a chef, appreciate classic movies like a critic and to always make room for 1 -100 more at the table. You appreciated each of your children and grandchildren as the unique individuals they are and were so, so proud of them all. You lavished your love on your children, their mates, your grandchildren, your great-grandchildren and any other person who crossed your doorway, especially the babies. Everyone who knew you as Nana felt instantly at home the minute they smelled the deliciousness coming from your kitchen. You always made sure you gave everyone the same amount of everything. How many trips did Lorene, Carol and I make to Shoprite during the Can Can sales??!!
We had so much fun making struffoli, stuffed artichokes or peppers, chicken soup, chicken francese and pasta alfredo. The holidays were always a great adventure! Discussions on when the spaghetti and white clam sauce should be served on Christmas Eve became a tradition! And who can forget the time you decided to follow the advice of Channel 7 news and eliminated the gravy from Thanksgiving dinner because they said that was the most fattening cholesterol ladened item on the table and should be avoided. Thanks to Johnny that never became a tradition!
I could go on and on but I can’t even see anymore as overwhelming grief clouds my vision. Mom you always told me that you loved me but more importantly you always showed me that you loved me. I pray I can be 1/2 the Mom and Nana you were #goals. I love you Mom and will see you again on streets of gold where there is no more pain and no more tears. XoxoxoX Judy

To my Family,
When I was a little boy my mom and dad separated. We had no place to go, no one to turn to. My Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Charlie took us in for a while and fed us, giving us a roof over our heads. I could never thank them enough for all of their care, condideration and love, and great home made chicken soup!
I feel great pain in my heart over the loss of my Aunt Lorraine and send my love to
all my cousins. I know wonderful people go to a wonderful place.
Love,
Anthony,Debra,Anthony jr, Jonathan & Ian Marinaccio

I’ve called you mom since I was 12 . You were a second mother to me and I loved you like my own . Your love for me was evident and I so appreciated it. You loved Arthur so much too and he loved you. You were a blessing to so many. You were funny and loved when your kids and grandkids made you laugh. Your heartaches were many, but now they are gone as you dance with Jesus. Rest well mommy.
