Lena Josephine Di Maggio of Hartsdale, NY and formerly of Yonkers, NY died on September 21, 2009 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late James Michael Di Maggio. Devoted daughter of the late Charles and Josephine Seravellie. Cherished mother of Capt. Salvatore (Connie) Di Maggio Y.P.D. and Donna (Francis) Bouley. Proud grandmother of Anthony Di Maggio Y.P.D. and Dana Di Maggio and Matthew and Eric Bouley. Loving sister of the late James Seravellie, Josephine Raguso and Theresa Melfi. Lena enjoyed her family and friends, reading, dancing, cooking, laughter and chats. She was an avid Yankee fan and her wit, active spirit, feistiness and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home 601 Yonkers Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church (Hartsdale) on Wednesday 10 AM . Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
