Yousef Sayegh, age 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 9th, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife Henna Sayegh. He is survived by his children Nahla (Hanna) Nasser, Michel (Shafica) Sayegh, Fayrouz (Jiries) Haddad, George (Iman) Sayegh, Jacqueline (Walid) Hasou, and Janet (Jeries) Salman. He is also survived by his 29 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Yousef was loved by all who knew him, and held the family together as the patriarch of the Sayegh Family. He loved all of his grandchildren and would always share stories of serving in the Jordanian army and his time in Jordan, his beloved country. He cherished traveling back home to visit friends and family. Yousef enjoyed gardening. He was an independent individual who lived a simple life, appreciating basic necessities. He instilled this value of strength of self-reliance and generosity in his children and grandchildren.
