Obituary of Frankie Nan Carello

Frankie Nan Carello, also warmly known as "CheChe" was born on March 8th , 1946. The daughter of Frank Labate and Gaynell Gray. She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and later moved to Portchester, New York. February of 1968 she married Samuel Carello, who predeceased her in 2004. They lived in Yonkers and had two children, Mathew and Catherine. Her son Mathew is married to Dawn and they live in Michigan. Her daughter Catherine is married to Charlie Grayson and they live in Yonkers. CheChe was the proud grandmother of Amanda, Samantha and Gianna, all born of her daughter Catherine. A great-granddaughter is expected this July from Amanda and her husband Issa Haddad. CheChe is also survived by two brothers, Frank and Christopher. CheChe was devoted to her family and gave generously of herself to everyone. She was well known and loved in the community for many years as the Branch Manager of Yonkers Savings and Loan and later in her career, as the Vice President of Sleepy Hollow Bank.
