Aida G. Napolitano, age 84, of Jericho died Saturday, July 6, 2019. Aida was born January 3, 1935 in New York, NY the daughter of the late Teodosio and Marietta (Cali) Pericano. Aida was so special. She worked hard at whatever she did whether it was working as a secretary at Fordham University, attending college at night for fifteen years, taking care of her family, , maintaining new and lifelong friendships, or, towards the end of her life, battling her many illnesses. Many will recall her talent for baking and her love of dancing. All who crossed her path will remember most her effervescent smile, her childlike sense of wonder, and most of all, her generous spirit. She was truly an angel on earth. Friends may call on Monday from 4:30 PM - 8:30PM and Tuesday from 4:30PM - 8:30 PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 499 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:45 at St. Barnabas Church, 409 E. 241st St., Bronx. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx.
