Obituary of Frank T. Fitzgerald

Frank T. Fitzgerald passed away peacefully on July 31, 2019, at the age of 63. He is survived by three brothers Ronald (Drita), Gregory, Douglas (Gina), two sisters Deborah (Nils), Elizabeth, sister in law Donna, eight nephews, two nieces, two great nephews, and three great nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Garry and Elizabeth, his brother Garry Stephen, and his niece Tara. Frank graduated from Gorton High School and went on to work at St. John's Hospital and Westchester County. Frank was an avid sports person his whole life playing baseball, basketball, and football. He enjoyed his love for sports as he would sit with his family and friends watching and talking about them. He loved going to professional football games with his brother in law and watching his nephew play high school football. He also like vacationing in Maine, Maryland, and Ocean Grove, NJ with his family. Frank was the most kind-hearted, thoughtful person who always thought of others. He had a heart of gold and it showed throughout his life with the many gifts given to his family. He was a beloved friend to all, including his best friend Ilene. Frank touched so many lives and will be truly missed. He was loved by all who knew him.
