I will always remember that Aunt Nettie and Aunt Angie taught me how to make meatballs -- which are, by th way, delicious! Aunt Nettie took me on several fun vacations -- Wildwood NJ - where she and Aunt Angie would spend most of their day making how made pasta and gravy-- where she thought she lost me and asked people on the beach "did you see a little girl with blonde hair" (how many little girls with blonde hair are there!) -- she took me to Florida -- she gave me my first TV dinner! I remember how my dad and I would visit her every Sunday -- he would enjoy coffee (or something a little stiffer) and I would love to rearrange her jewely vanity -- trying on all of her clip-on earrings. Aunt Nettie's biscotte were the best-- I will always remember her love for cooking, and the wonderful love she had for her family. Aunt Nettie, I will miss you! Say hi to my dad in heaven.
