Rosina Elena Macri (Agostino), a long time Yonkers resident died on October 6, 2019 at the age of 80. She was born in Martone, Province Reggio Calabria, Italy on April 4, 1939 to Vincenzo Agostino and Maria Piscionere Agostino. In 1955, she emigrated to the United States and settled in Yonkers, NY. For many years Rosina worked as a seamstress, then as an associate for Saks Fifth Avenue and finally at the Yonkers Board of Education. Beloved wife of Giuseppe Macri, whom she married on April 7, 1956. Devoted mother of Stephen (Grace) Macri of Yonkers, Vincent (Lidia) Macri of White Plains and Anthony (Jill) Macri of Mahopac. Dear sister of Nicola Agostino and Rocco Agostino, both of Australia, Antonio Agostino and Santo Agostino, both of Yonkers and the late Vincenzo Agostino and Benito Agostino. Loving grandmother of Giselle, Joseph, Amanda, Vincent, Marisa, Jonathan, Brittany, Briana and Ashley Macri and Alesandra (Macri) Pappas and great-grandmother of Maximilian Macri. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue on Tuesday (today) and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral mass at St. Ann's Church, Midland Ave, Yonkers on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.
