James Francis Feehan passed away on October 8th, 2019 at the age of 73. Jim is survived by his loving wife Estelle (Addonizio) Feehan of 49 years, and his two children James Feehan and Elizabeth Hill (Husband "Charles"). He was a beloved Grandfather (Poppy) to his six grandchildren, Jacqueline, Julia, Charles, Peter, Anna and Lucy. He is also survived by his two sisters, Virginia (Husband James) and Elizabeth (Betty), along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Mother Elizabeth and Father James Feehan. Jim was born on February 15th, 1946 in Manhattan, NY and spent his childhood in Washington Heights. He graduated from Manhattan College in 1967 with a degree in Education. He worked as a physical education teacher at P.S. 31 in Yonkers, NY before moving on to a long and tenured career at Gorton High School in Yonkers. Jim was a beloved mentor, teacher, coach and Dean of Students in his years at Gorton, and retired happily in 2002. Jim spent his summers on Lantern Point Beach in Fairfield, CT. He enjoyed fishing, the sun, and most of all, spending time with his close friends and family. You could always find him with a parade of children marching to his beat. The family will hold services at the Sinatra Memorial Home, located at 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, New York, on Thursday October 10th, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral mass will be 10:45am on Friday, October 11th, 2019 at St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville, New York.
