I grew up as a member of the Prophet Elias church family. James Florakis, and indeed the entire Florakis family were, and are pillars of the community. Mr. Florakis worked side by side with my father for the betterment of the parish for many years. He was a great man, a gentle and devoted soul who will be missed. May his memory be eternal.
