Our parents always used to tell us that thunder was the noise that the Angels made when they rearranged the furniture. I guess there is going to be some major redecorating going on above the clouds. Thunder storms are now going to be LOUDER THAN EVER! I’ll listen for them. We love you JP and will miss you so terribly much. Love B.E.

JP was a generous brother, and uncle. He gave of his love, time and of course his opinion. He always gave me advice, sometimes gave me grief, (especially over the Christmas Eve sleigh ride to the laundry mat!) and occasionally gave me premature gray hairs (from taking my Ford Torino for a joy ride, along with our brother Stephen; JP was only 14 and Steve 12), but I love him dearly and would gladly have gone on getting more gray hairs from him. I appreciated that he always put gas back in my car after going for a "joy ride", and tried to park it in the same place I had left it; even if I didn't always say thank you (I probably was too busy defending him from my father's wrath).
I am especially proud that he was a Yonkers Fireman, and so admire his bravery and dedication. I really had to stop watching News 12 Westchester.
Thank you John, for giving us a fabulous sister in law, and 2 beautiful and talented nieces and an awesome nephew. We love and cherish them and will be there for them, always.
We will miss you, John and love you forever. They tell me that to be in the hearts of those who love you, is not to die. So forever, you will be in my heart, my dear brother. I will never let anything or anybody take away the love my heart holds for you!
So, rest now, and give us some of your courage, so we can bear the pain of losing you. You will never be forgotten because that is just impossible.
Your loving sister, Jean

We had so many good memories at the summer house with all the family. So many laughs and watching the family grow there created many more happy memories. We will miss you so much John.

JP I love you dearly. You made me laugh and cry. But that is all part of being brothers and sisters. I was so proud of you joining the fire department. You were a great uncle for Carl & Greg. Generous in so many ways. Courageous, loving, and FUN. I will miss your strong hugs and hearing your voice. Rest peacefully my dear brother. And yes you are one of the few people who got way with calling me ‘Susie’

So many memories. Where to start? Camping in New York State, walking back to the campsite singing Hotel California. Remember him on his first Jetski and him having the patience to try to teach his little sisters how to stand up on it (Yes, stand up). And how he had to fix my first car all the time when it kept breaking down-I’m sure he was glad I didn’t have a cell phone then. He always called me a book worm and said I studied too much. And what a great Dad, a real natural
