The Gift of Love
"Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends." 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
David will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 42 years, Elena (Clara), his three children, Priscilla, Perla and David and his five grandchildren, Rolando, Gabriel, Alaiza, Spencer and Aiden.
He was predeceased by his parents, Maria Diez, Santiago Genao and his brother Alfonso. He will also be forever remembered by his remaining brothers, sisters and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Music Conservatory of Westchester as their value demonstrates what David loved so much about music. "We believe in the inherent power of music to provide personal enrichment, creative expression, lifelong learning, cultural appreciation, and joy for everyone."
That's what David left us all with – the gift of love and joy for everyone.
A wake service will be held in Yonkers, NY on November 20, 2019, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Sinatra Funeral Home 601 Yonkers Ave. Yonkers, NY 10704. A funeral service and David's final resting place will be in his native home, Dominican Republic.
The family is grateful for the love and support during this difficult time.
