Alex was an amazing man who I had the pleasure of knowing personally. The day I turned 22, was the day I truly saw how big Alex's heart was. I walked into my closing shift and saw Alex was on the schedule and said to myself, " Yess we are getting out early tonight, but hes late.... Again lol." He walked in and I was like hey man okay we have to work fast today because its my birthday. He turns to me and said," Oh I didnt know it was your birthday, Happy Birthday Josh, are you doing anything for it?" I said No because noone wants to hang out on a Tuesday night haha. He turned to me and said "Really, nah that cant happen we will find something to do" So after work I ran home and changed. At 9:30 he pulled up to my house and he started driving. As we are in his car listening to his Kendrick Lamar and Kanye mixes, he turned to me and says "Okay so uhm... where are we going lol?" We had just been driving and talking for 20 mins with no destination. We ended up going bowling and drinking and he called some of his friends and it ended up being an amazing birthday. Got home at 2am and both of us had work in the morning.
I am definitely going to miss this guy but I know I'll see him again one day. So today I pray to you directly Alex, I'll save all of Kendricks Albums for you kid.
