Dominica E. Notaro, 79, of Yonkers, died Wednesday, December 11, 2019. She was born to the late Mildred (DePalma) DeSimone and Anthony DeSimone, Yonkers, NY. She married Nicola Notaro on July 23, 1960. Dominica worked for the NYS Board of Education as a teachers assistant until she retired in 2007. She was a Loving Mother to: Debbie Notaro, Christina (Blanyar)Notaro, John Notaro & his wife, Lisa Giordano-Notaro, Antoinette Notaro & her husband Anthony Febbo. She is also survived by six grandchildren that adored her: Jennifer Blanyar-Vidot, Michelle Blanyar, Anthony Febbo Jr., Nicholas Febbo, Gianna Notaro & Rocco Notaro. Also, a brother Vincent DeSimone of Newburgh, NY. She leaves behind many sister-in-law's, brothers-in-law's, nieces & nephews as well. Flowers are beautiful or a donation to the Cancer Society in Memory of Dominica Notaro is also appreciated. A viewing will be held at Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Ave. Yonkers, NY 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. on Sunday Dec. 15, 2019. A funeral mass will be held on Monday Dec. 16 at St. John the Baptist Church at 670 Yonkers Ave. Yonkers, NY at 10:45 am. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Rd. Hartsdale, NY.
