Diego Fernando Trejo (November 29 1997-December 16 2019) passed away suddenly on December 16. His charming smile will forever be remembered by all who knew him. Diego was a gentle soul who touched the lives of many people. A devoted brother to his two loving sisters Stephanie & Sophia Trejo. He is survived by his mother Maria Camacho, his father Julio Trejo, step-father Mario Camacho, grand parents Maria Yolanda and Fernando Martinez. Uncle Jonathan and wife Daniela; uncle William and wife Nelly, nephew Luis Rodriguez, niece Anny Rodriguez; aunt Adriana & Gloria; uncle John and wife Luz Adriana; Uncle Alex, aunt Nelly, and among his many cousins, Esteban Quintana. There are so many more family and friends that will remember him from Colombia and Guatemala. He will be truly missed by all who loved him so very much.
One of many of Diego's stories.
My name is Stephanie Trejo, Diego's sister who was younger by 2 years and 3 months. Naturally we were best friends, I told him everything. One night in 2016 I went to his room, crying over some petty high school drama. I had a long talk with him that night where he consoled and guided me, like the most amazing oldest brother he was. Early the next morning he sent me a text that said: "Just a reminder that 15 yrs from now you'll be living in your own place with a good job and a family not giving a hell what happened in high school. Don't sweat the small stuff Steph just keep striving towards ur goals trust me it'll pay off. Have a good day love you" This is a message I continuously looked back on whenever I found myself stressing over small things and I'll continue looking at it. Diego, or Nono as our family called him, had the biggest heart and was so very protective of his two younger sisters. Our memories and bonds are forever. We will forever be the Trejo trio.
