I met ruga back in 2008 while we was in the halla. Right off the bat I felt homie energy we ended up getting real cool while on 1west on the minor block. He was from Yonkers and me mount Vernon but once I got out I made sure we stayed in contact together. We wasn’t your typical black youth offenders we knew we had a future ahead of us so almost immediately upon our release we was already headed to obtain our G.E.D to go to college. We both was talking about enrolling in a G.E.D program at Bronx Community College. I always felt guilty about your death ruga I remember you always was calling me around the time you passed trying to come out here to mount Vernon and chill wit me Kuz you knew I was just staying to myself and trying to better myself u wanted to be around that type of energy but I would always tell you i was busy that day Kuz I wasn’t financial correct so I knew we couldn’t do much we just came home from jail so we was broke I didn’t really wanna chill yet I was just thinking bout getting back on my feet but I never thought we would never get another chance to hang again. U was suppose to be out here chilling wit me away from the drama In Yonkers.
