Serafina "Rene" Call, (nee Rullo) 97, of Yonkers, New York, formerly of Scarsdale, New York and Delray Beach, Florida, passed away on January 11, 2020. Rene was born on September 10, 1922 in the Bronx, New York to Maria (Lucy) and Thomas Rullo. Rene loved school and was an honors student. She especially loved science. She worked as a seamstress during the war and as a travel agent later in life. She loved dining out, dancing, playing golf, traveling and entertaining family and friends. She had a keen eye for real estate, good business sense, and a great sense of humor. She was the beloved wife of Angelo Call and formerly of Joseph Sabino, devoted mother of Linda Norris of Yonkers, NY, and Joanne Sabino (deceased) of Yonkers, NY, loving grandmother of three grandchildren, Joseph Norris and his wife, Joy, Mark Schlagel and his wife, Gina, and Michael Norris, and his wife, Jessica, and loving great-grandmother of James Norris, Thomas Norris, Gianna Schlagel and Aiden Norris. She was also a beloved Aunt to her nieces and nephews, and a dear friend to many. Friends may call at Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY on Wednesday , January 15 from 3-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America (alzfdn.org)
