Jane A. Yannaco passed away surrounded by her 4 children and her daughter in law, at the age of 86 on January 31, 2020 in New York City. Jane was born in The Bronx N.Y. on July 6th, 1933 and was the youngest daughter of Frank and Katherine (Kitty) McCormack. Her loving sister Katherine Johns predeceased Jane in 2011. Jane married the love of her life on June 27, 1953, Arthur C. Yannaco who passed in June of 1980 in a tragic accident. A widow at 46 years of age Jane persevered in life retiring from the NY Telephone Company in 1991 with over 20 years of service. Jane was a proud member of the Pioneers Club and loved the trips and the time spent with her fellow retirees. Jane is survived by all her children, Jan Massey (Al Moncada), Theresa Yannaco, Arthur V. Yannaco (Nancy) and Mary Delaney (James). Jane was the grandmother of 9, Arthur M, Thomas, Mary, Christopher, John, Michael, James, Joseph, Daniel and 2 Great Grandchildren, Kaleigh and Jimmy. Her niece Christine and nephew Kevin also survive Jane, who she treated as her own. Jane's children and entire family will miss her dearly. Jane graduated from Our Lady of Refuge elementary school and Mother Butler High School in the Bronx. Jane had resided in Yonkers N.Y. for over 40 years and loved to play solitaire, word puzzles and putter (her words) around the house that she loved.
