Leo passed away on February 8, 2020 at the age of 94. He was born on December 3, 1925, into a large Italian family, he was one of 10 children and was a life-long resident of Yonkers, NY. Leo is survived by his sister Marie Harrington and also his brother Albert Muscari. Leo's beloved wife of over 60 years, Clara, died in 2009. He is a beloved father to Michael Muscari and wife (Lynn) and Karen Mayer and husband (Andy). He was a wonderful grandfather to Michael Anthony Muscari (and wife Libby) and Justin Andrew Mayer and wife (Cortney). He has three great grandchildren, Gabriel, Ruby Claire and Ariana Noelle and a 4th great grandchild is expected in July. There are many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and so many cousins too. Leo loved to cook, drink red wine, and enjoyed music from Johnny Cash to Andrea Bocelli. Leo was a great lover of all animals, especially dogs. He loved the view of the Hudson River from his terrace at Sunnyside, where he had the best neighbors and friends. Leo was a life-long communicant of St. Peters Church. He especially enjoyed summers at the Jersey shore and loved swimming in the ocean. He was a former butcher and a Yonkers Police Officer for 20 years.
