Carmine, I have so many memories of our families growing up together. I remember how hard you and my father always worked, from the moment you came to this country. There was no construction job you would not take. If there was work available on a weekend or night, you were both willing and able and so strong together. The hurt my Dad has right now breaks my heart as he has lost one of his best friends and the person he considered family since he came to America. Our families have always been close and you asking my parents to be Anthony's godparents is just one example of that. So many memories of your funny ways and voices to the hunting you also did with my father. Although we feel pain, we will try to find comfort in knowing you are no longer suffering or in pain. May you rest in peace and know that you are loved by so many, near and far. Our prayers and loving thoughts always, Brunella and family

The passing of Carmine is truly devastating. Every time, he was outside I was so excited. As a young boy, seeing Carmine was instant entertainment. His sayings, phrases, sense of humor and his uncanny ability to make you feel special will forever be unmatched. My childhood was filled with love from such an amazing family. Carmine, One of the best things about coming home to Connecticut was visiting you and Lucia. You had a laugh and a smile that could fill the room you were in. Your funny stories about Italy and showing Nick and I how to make limoncello and fresh prosciutto are just a few of the great things I will miss. You could always make us laugh. What I will miss most of all is looking down the dinner table at the holidays and seeing your devilish grin as you sneak a glass of wine past Lucia.
