It is with great sadness that the family of Michael DAscoli ( Mikey D ) announces his passing after a brief illness of a respiratory infection. Mike was 56 years old when he went home to be with The Lord on Thursday, February 6th, 2020. Michael will be terribly missed by his surviving sister Kim and her husband Larry, along with his beloved nieces Danielle and Cori. Mike will also be lovingly remembered by his Aunt Nikki, Aunt Mary, many cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father and mother Frank and Lois D'Ascoli whom he was born to on October 22nd, 1963. Michael worked in the Department of Public Works for the City of Yonkers for 30 years when he retired in 2018. He will be remembered most for his fun loving sense of humor, his amazing singing voice and his pure, kind and gentle heart. Mike was an avid karaoke singer and spent many nights singing at The South of France eatery In the Bronx with his friends. Michael loved model trains, gas pumps and old movies. He relaxed by walking Orchard Beach and City Island. Michael will be forever remembered by the mention of Fred Flintstone, The Soprano's, Coney Island, Shorehaven Beach Club, Allerton Avenue, White Caste, and Rye Playland Park. Forever in our hearts <3.
