Obituary of Beverly E. Eschen

Beverly E. Eschen, age 93, of Yorktown Heights died Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Beverly was a beautiful lady who lived a long full life of love, comfort and happiness surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a very creative and talented Person. Her sewing, knitting, embroidery and seamtress skills were first rate. She made amazing wedding dresses for her granddaughters and great granddaughter, beautiful quilt and afghans, wonderful needlepoint, cross stitch and embroidered pieces many of us cherish. Beverly was a fabulous cook and great company for dinner. Had she been born at a different time; she may have been an archeologist. She was intrigued with the Egyptians and ancient history. Recently, her own ancestry was an interest. Above all, however, Beverly loved her family and made each of us feel special. She is with Fred, her husband, who she missed greatly, her sister, Peggy and her great grandson, Luke. The last thing Beverly said to her grandchildren and great grandchildren was don’t be sad for me. I’m very happy, I’m comfortable and not in pain.
