Al and I were cousins. We first met when his family came to the US from Italy in the early 1960s. We grew up together, went to grammar school together with Andy Clementi and Mario Curti and we played in a band together. We also had a falling out that lasted for decades. In September 2018 we reconciled, and I was looking forward to building up our relationship as we grew into our senior years. Al, I will miss you. May the tree I planted in your memory grow strong. Rest in peace.

Al and I had been friends for many years. He was one of my closest friends. We met at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Grammar School and went to college together. We played in bands as teenagers and experienced life and a friendship for many years. Al was the best man at my wedding. This past summer our old gang got together at Al’s house for a reunion. It was great to see everyone and happy we had this opportunity. Al’s passing is so unexpected. We will miss you my friend. RIP

I have known my friemd Alterio since we were classmates at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Grammar School on Bathgate Ave.
Our friendship continued through our teen years and College years. We played in a band together,
We often spent summers in Sea Side Heights New Jersey,. Al was always great company and he had a great sense of humor.
Al was in my wedding party when Rosina and I were married and We were in Al and Roselie's bridal party when Al and Roselie were married. In September of 2006 We went on a cruse to Barcelona and and Provance France and had a wonderful time. We were talking about taking another cruise just recently so Al's passing passing is a total shock. Al was a kind and generous friend,
I will miss his great sense of humor and his company and his conversations.
Rest in Peace dear friend,
