Philip Federico Sr., a longtime Yonkers, NY resident died peacefully on October 20, 2009. Born on January 20, 1916 in Star Junction, PA to Peter and Ann Federico, he was 93. During WWII he served in the U.S. Army and was discharged six years later in 1944 reaching the rank of sergeant. On May 23, 1943 he married his loving wife, Emma Mancuso. She predeceased him in 2000. Beloved father of Philip (Kathy) Federico Jr., Diane Tarasco and the late Peter Federico. Cherished grandfather of Philip J. Federico, Stacy (Robert) Grabeklis, Joseph and Jason Tarasco and great grandfather of Robert J. Grabeklis. Fond brother of the late Joseph, John and Frank Federico. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Church on Friday at 10:30AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
