Constance Raimondi died peacefully on April 10, 2020, at the Dumont Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in New Rochelle at the age of 98. She was born on October 13, 1921 in Reggio, Calabria, Italy, to Fortunato and Francesca Caruso. She came to America in 1934 and settled in Yonkers. In 1945, she married James Raimondi who predeceased her in 1995. She was also predeceased by her parents and a brother, Paul Caruso. She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Edward) Opaciuch; two grandchildren, James (Krista) Stringer and Laura (Timothy) Adam; and two great-granddaughters, Shanna Adam and Emily Stringer.
Due to Covid19, the family is unable to receive family or friends at this time. There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
