Please share a memory of Elisa Rosaria to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Elisa Rosaria Nistico was born on October 17, 1926 in Cardinale Italy. On Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 she was called home to celebrate the Resurrection in heaven. She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Giuseppe Nistico. Her passion in life was her family. She was the matriarch that kept her family together. Her most memorable quality was that she always put everyone else's feelings, needs, & wants before herself. She was a warm, caring, & loving wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She possessed a strength that showed in all that she did, especially through her expertise in Italian cooking. When it came to express her love for her family or anyone that was lucky enough to know her, she did it with preparing her delicious home cooked meals. She was a homemaker that spent her days in a kitchen that was always opened no matter what time of day or night. She was full of life and made it her duty to always provide for her family, especially her 9 children & grandchildren with their favorites that they each had from her abundant variety of foods she created. She is survived by her sons Carlo (Susan Bottino), & Rinaldo, her daughters Marisa, Brunina, Eleanor (Joseph Cardoso), Lucia & Carolina (Edward Masterson), her 12 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren, her 2 sisters Lucia & Norina & many nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughters Isa Natalia & Graziella Marie & her brother Nicole DeGori.
