Obituary of Peter R. Russell

Peter Robinson Russell, 69, passed away on April 11, 2020. Peter grew up in Bedford Hills, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. William Henry Russell and Frances "Frankie" Russell, and his sister, Judy Russell. In addition to his spouse Robin, Peter is survived by his two sons, Dr. Geoffrey Russell and John Russell, his two brothers, James (Patricia) of PA and Thomas (Amy) of RI. Included are his niece, Alice, his nephew, Henry, and his brother-in-law, Curtis Fuller. Peter had a long, successful career as a CPA/CFO and financial analyst. He also had many hobbies and interests, including science, technology, reading, and movies. He had a gentle spirit and is remembered by his sons as a wonderful, loving father who encouraged kindness, intellectual curiosity, and lifelong learning. A memorial service will be organized at a safer time. Donations in memory of Peter may be made to Drug Crisis In Our Backyard.
