YONKERS- Edmund L. Bianco (Buzz) entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2020 at the age of 95. Born in Yonkers, NY on May 13, 1924. The son of late Jennie (Bianco) Giammarco and Peter Bianco.
A lifelong resident of the Park Hill Section of Yonkers where he was known to everyone as "BUZZ".
He was drafted to WW11 in 1943 where he served proudly in the United States Army in Central Europe. He was honorably discharged in 1945 after receiving a Bronze Gold Star Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
After his military service he began his career working at General Motors in Tarrytown where he retired after 35 Years of faithful employment. During his retirement years he enjoyed gardening and watching sports.
Buzz is survived by his loving niece, Adeline D'Alessandro. He was predeceased by his sister Dolores (Gloria) D'Alessandro.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date. Interment at St Joseph's Cemetery will be private due to the current conditions
